Functional Biomaterial Platform
MEDI-POLY is based on over 30 years of research from the Regenerative Medicine Lab at Ajou University focused on developing functional biomaterials that are biocompatible and biodegradable.
This core proprietary platform tehcnology can flexibly introduce various biological functional groups into polymers. The resulting materials are versatile as they can be used as drug/stem cell carriers, bio-inks, and more.

MEDI-POLY® has a functionalized structure that is possible to introduce various biological functional groups whether that is pendant functionalized polyesters like heparin or naturally derived materials such as hyaluronic acid.

Our materials with bioactive groups can be widely used in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, medicine, regenerative medicine, bioprinting ink, and more.
MEDTOGEL®
MEDTOGEL® are polymers that can be used as stem cell and drug carriers for regenerating and reconstructing tissues and organs. It comes in 2 types: click-crosslinking (MEDTOGEL-C) and thermosensitive (MEDTOGEL-T).
At room temperature, MEDTOGEL® can easily be prepared to contain several stem cells or bioactive materials. This material loaded-MEDTOGEL® can be injected into the body using a syringe. Once injected, MEDTOGEL® forms into a hydrogel at the injected site.
MEDI-DEPOT™
MEDI-DEPOT™ is a prefilled injectable platform technology. It can maintain sustained release of drugs once in the body. Using conventional drugs with proven therapeutic effects, MEDI-DEPOT™ can prolong the drug’s efficacy. This in turn eases the burden of taking drugs every day.
MEDTOINK™
MEDTOINK™ are biomaterials that can be used for bioprinting. Research level has confirmed bioprinting of stents, orthopedic surgical nails, and an artificial mini kidney.
